I paint to connect with nature and our beautiful environment we all share. I paint abstracts intuitively from memory and imagination. Ripples in the sand from the waves on the beach, the way the sky color changes throughout the day, swirls in the water during a storm, winding creeks and grassy marshes are the artwork nature makes. My abstracts are inspired by nature and my impressionistic work captures scenes of the beautiful low country and historic architecture in Charleston.
